NHAS FREE Training
We provide free specialist support and training to local authorities, voluntary agencies and public authorities. Our programme of training is designed in response to the latest developments in housing and homelessness, and is aimed at frontline staff that work with people who are dealing with housing or homelessness related issues.
What courses are available?
With ongoing COVID-19 restrictions NHAS is offering online learning through a range of webinars and e-learning courses. Face-to-face training will resume as soon as it is safe and possible.
You can book on a scheduled webinar through our online booking portal. Don't have a training account? Follow the ‘how to book’ instructions to the right of this page.
Group webinar delivery
Webinars can be delivered, for free, to groups of staff at NHAS eligible organisations, including basic tailoring where appropriate. We can deliver webinars to a group of 15 minimum, up to a maximum of 60 delegates. Please contact email@example.com with any requests or queries.
Group training at your own venue
Please note: due to current restrictions face-to-face group training sessions are not being offered, they will resume when it is safe and possible.
If you have between 8 and 16 delegates you can arrange for an in-house face-to face training course or briefing for your team - all we ask is that you provide a suitable training venue. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any requests or queries.
We receive a high volume of requests, please ensure you are able to provide a suitable room for the date and time agreed for training to take place. If you need to cancel or reschedule please let us know with 4 weeks notice if possible.

How to book
- Step 1: Set up a Training Portal Account
All scheduled face-to-face courses, briefings, webinars and e-learning courses can be booked through our online portal. You will need your unique training user ID and password to book.
If you don't yet have an account please send an email to email@example.com stating your full name, organisation and postcode.
If you already have an account, please go to step 3.

Manager Portal Guide
If you are a manager and will be using the booking portal to book your staff onto courses then read the Manager Portal Guide. Within your manager portal you can review the course bookings you have made, create new users within your account, book courses for your users, view training history, and run reports.
Learner Portal Guide
The Learner Portal is the view of the booking portal that users (who are not designated as managers/account managers) will see when they log in. Within a user portal the learner can search for courses to book, view courses they are booked on to, book on to bitesize elearning and more.

You will need your unique training user ID and password to book.
