Implementing the Domestic Abuse Act
Wednesday 8 December 2021
Free half-day event delivered via Zoom
Join Shelter and expert speakers from across England to look at best practice in implementing the Domestic Abuse Act.
Showcasing real examples and looking at how we can overcome challenges together, delegates will have the opportunity to put their own questions to our panel of experts.
The event will feature speakers from the office of the Domestic Abuse Commissioner, Local Domestic Abuse Boards, and organisations providing safer accommodation services. Davina Hanman-James will also be discussing good practice to ensure the voices of survivors are heard.
This event is suitable for local authority staff who are responsible for implementing the requirements of the Domestic Abuse Act 2020, as well as those from public authorities and voluntary agencies that are involved in multi-agency working in their locality, or who work with under-served groups experiencing domestic abuse.
