Assisted Voluntary sale

NHAS has also produced a good practice guide to Assisted Voluntary Sale (AVS), which is a relatively new development for borrowers looking to exit home ownership because the mortgage payments are not manageable or the mortgage is not sustainable. If you think you are in this position please do take advice from an independent advice agency such as a Citizens Advice Bureau or Shelter before proceeding with AVS as there may also be other options available to you.
