Need advice?

Please note that we are not a public-facing organisation, and can only provide our services to professionals. If you are a member of the public looking for advice on your housing situation, the following information about organisations that provide free advice, self-help resources and support may be helpful.

Where to find help

You can find detailed advice and information about your housing rights on the Shelter website, including how to access help if you are either homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless. Citizens Advice provide advice on your rights in a range of housing situations on their website, where you can also search for your local Citizens Advice service. In England, you can call their Advice line on 03444 111 444 (text relay 03444 111 445).

The Housing and Local Services section of GOV.UK hosts a range of information regarding the rights of home owners and renters, including information about mortgage payment difficulties and arrears.

Northern Ireland

The Housing Rights Service run the website housingadviceNI.org, which offers over 800 pages of information and self-help materials on a variety of housing issues, including homelessness and finding accommodation.  

The Citizens Advice Website also maintains a list of advice agencies in Northern Ireland and their contact details.

Scotland

Wales
