Free Consultancy Advice Line

We provide specialist advice on housing, housing debt and welfare benefit issues to help you support your clients.

You can call us on the local rate number 0300 330 0517, between 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday, or you can speak to an adviser via webchat by clicking the 'chat with us here' button located at the top of each page on this website. We regret that we can no longer offer advice by email; this has been replaced by the webchat service in order to improve our adviser's ability to respond to your query quickly and accurately.

Please note: Our advice line is for eligible professionals only, and our advisers will not be able to speak to the client directly during the course of the call.

Consultancy Advice Line & Anonymity of Cases

What we do

All consultancy advice line cases will be kept anonymous and will not contain details of your client.

What you need to do

To maintain anonymity of the case, it's important that you redact (blank out) any client identifying details such as name, address etc. from any documents that you send to us. We won't be able to action documents that haven't been redacted, and will need to return them to you to be redacted and re-submitted before we can advise you.

Similarly, please don't share any identifying client details with us in any other correspondence.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you. It's important to follow these procedures to enable us to deliver the service and to comply with data protection legislation.
