Frontline worker survey 2020: amplify your voice as a frontline worker

The Frontline Network supports workers from the public, statutory and voluntary sectors working on the frontline with those experiencing homelessness across the UK. They run an annual frontline worker survey, to highlight what works, share good practice, and identify the key challenges faced by those working with people experiencing homelessness.
This year the COVID-19 outbreak has presented significant and fast-evolving challenges for the homelessness sector. Frontline services have been significantly impacted by staff capacity as people go into isolation and work from home, and there have been severe consequences for the services provided on the frontline. That is why now more than ever, decision makers need to listen to frontline workers when developing strategies to reduce homelessness.
Key findings from the frontline worker survey 2019
Every day frontline workers overcome multiple structural & practical barriers, to help individuals access housing and specialist support, and to prevent them from experiencing homelessness. Based on the feedback from 1,435 frontline workers in the frontline worker Survey 2019, the following five recommendations were set out by the Frontline Network.
The Frontline Worker Survey 2020 is confidential and anonymous, and will not be able to trace responses back to individuals or to organisations.
The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete and will be open until close of play on Monday 30th November 2020.
