Changes to NHAS Training Programme for April 2018
Posted by Debbie Watson March 05, 2018
From 1st April 2018, Shelter and Citizens Advice will no longer be working together on the National Homelessness Advice Service. The NHAS will continue as normal but from April, it will be delivered exclusively by Shelter.
There will, however, be a change to the way local citizens advice and voluntary agency members book onto face to face courses and webinars - the change will take place from 19th March, when details of how to book onto courses will be on the NHAS website. The process of booking onto courses for local authorities will not change.
The full range of NHAS training courses, webinars, briefings and e-learning will continue to be available in 2018-2019 and new courses will continue to be developed. All courses that are running from 1st April will be available to book on from 16th March.
The other elements of the NHAS will be continuing as normal, including the housing consultancy line, the housing debt casework team and housing information provision such as the NHAS website, monthly e-bulletins and Housing Matters.
